How We Got Started
Look, I'm not gonna feed you some corporate line about "passion for excellence" or whatever. Truth is, I started working on cars because my old man's BMW kept breaking down and we couldn't afford the dealership prices. Learned real quick that European cars aren't scary - they're just built different.
That was back in 2012. Fast forward to 2016, and I'd saved up enough working nights at various shops around Vancouver to open our own place on Granville. Started with just me, a lift, and way too much coffee. The name? Yeah, it's a bit dramatic - my daughter came up with "Citadel" because she said we were protecting people's cars. Quantyron was my dad's old garage name from back in the day. Seemed right to honor that.
We're not the biggest shop in Vancouver, and honestly, we don't wanna be. What we've built here is a crew that actually gives a damn. When your Audi's acting weird or your Porsche needs more than an oil change, you're not just another invoice to us. We've probably dealt with the same issue on a dozen other cars, and we'll shoot straight about what you actually need versus what the dealer's trying to sell you.
These days we've got four bays, proper diagnostic equipment that didn't come cheap, and a team that knows the difference between a check engine light that's urgent and one that can wait till next month. No BS, just good work at fair prices.

Our Journey So Far
Where It All Began
Started learning European car repair out of necessity. Dad's old 5-series taught me everything about not giving up on a problem.
Opened Our Doors
Signed the lease on Granville Street. One bay, basic tools, and a whole lot of hope. First customer was a guy with a Jetta that three other shops couldn't figure out.
Expanded to Three Bays
Business was growing faster than expected. Hired our first full-time tech, Marcus, who's still with us. Invested in proper BMW and VAG diagnostic systems.
Weathered The Storm
Pandemic hit hard but our customers stuck with us. Started offering mobile diagnostics and contactless drop-off. Community really came through.
Added Fourth Bay & Tuning
Expanded into performance tuning and ECU programming. Got certified for Porsche work, which opened up a whole new customer base.
Still Going Strong
Team of six now, thousands of happy customers, and we're still in the same spot on Granville. Not planning on going anywhere - Vancouver's been good to us.
